Santana passenger car engine work, often occurs hydraulic tappet abnormal sound failure, but to accurately determine the abnormal sound of the tappet is more difficult, that is, all the hydraulic tappet for decomposition is difficult to judge. If you replace all the hydraulic tappets, the higher the cost, not only the customer is not easy to accept, and will cause unnecessary waste.
The main reason for the abnormal sound of the hydraulic tappet is caused by the insufficient sealing of the check valve due to the insufficient oil pressure in the tarpaulin or the oil tank caused by the excessive grease. In general, as long as the hydraulic tappet for a careful and detailed cleaning and maintenance can be troubleshooting (effective rate of 99%). The specific method of operation is as follows.
    A. Press hard on the hardwood or aluminum plate to push the hydraulic tappet, so that the plunger and the cylinder and other parts from the hydraulic tappet out.
    B. Use the old fine cloth to remove the grease from the outside of the cylinder.
    C. Clean the check valve ball and check valve seat (on the plunger). If necessary, remove the bracket and then clean the check valve ball and check valve seat holes.
    D. Apply a little oil to the plunger, and then install the plunger and check valve ball and other parts (except the return spring) into the cylinder for the sealing test of the check valve. The test method is to press the plunger into the cylinder, and then release the plunger, and observe whether the plunger can eject out. If the plunger can be ejected out, it indicates that the check valve has a good sealing performance; otherwise, it will re-clean the check valve ball and check valve seat hole.
    E. Replace all parts in the cylinder.
    F. Tap the cylinder gently into the cylinder.
